7:30 PM: Presentation
Among her projects at Microtrace, Katie analyzes, identifies, and sources various product contaminants for clients throughout the food industry. In her presentation, she will discuss the variety of analyses performed and the range of samples she has encountered in her work. She will also present some interesting case work examples

Bio Sketch:
Katie White is currently employed as a microscopist at Microtrace, LLC. She has worked previously as a research assistant with the National Center for Forensic Science, and also as a graduate teaching assistant for undergraduate courses in forensic microscopy and trace evidence. She holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science from the University of Central Florida.
